N585m scandal: Bishop Oyedepo’s prayers should’ve made you set good example – Omokri knocks Betta Edu

Activist Reno Omokri suggested that the prayers of Bishop David Oyedepo should have influenced the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, to set good examples while in office. Edu was suspended by President Bola Tinubu for instructing the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation to pay N585.18 million into a private account. The payment was meant for the Grants for Vulnerable Groups project in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos, and Ogun states, and the directive was rejected by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Dr. Oluwatoyin Madein.
