A female tech innovator has been selected as the CEO of Task Systems Ltd.

Mrs. Gozy Ijogun has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Task Systems, effective from April 1, 2023.

Despite her young age of 25, Mrs. Ijogun, armed with a degree in Chemistry from University College, London, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting, Organizations, and Institutions from the London School of Economics, made a significant impact on the digital landscape of Nigeria. She pioneered TD-Mobile, the first structured mobile devices distribution company in the country.

Against all odds, Mrs. Ijogun achieved an impressive N38 billion revenue in the company's first year with only 7 staff members. During the launch of this ambitious project at Eko Hotel in 2013, witnessed by notable CEOs from the Banking and Manufacturing sectors, as well as senior executives of major mobile device original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), she clearly outlined her mission to structure and disrupt the sector.

With remarkable determination, Mrs. Ijogun emphasized her commitment to adding value to emerging tech products and complementary services in Nigeria. Her confident speech was met with great success, surpassing investors' expectations. Within a few years, TD-Mobile, initially a startup, became an Authorized Distributor for renowned global mobile device brands such as Nokia, Samsung, Infinix, Tecno, and Apple Inc.

Due to her outstanding performance, TD-Mobile merged with TD Africa Distributions Ltd., the leading technology distribution company in Sub-Saharan Africa, representing over 25 global brands including Microsoft, IBM, HP, Cisco, Lenovo, Dell, ASUS, and Samsung.

Rapidly ascending through the ranks, Mrs. Ijogun achieved the position of Managing Director in a short period. Her strong leadership skills and consistent performance in capacity building led to substantial revenue growth, increased profitability, and expanded market share.

Under her guidance, TD Africa introduced numerous ICT solution products, positioning the company as a prominent solution-focused tech distribution company in Africa. Additionally, TD Africa launched innovative financing options to support the vast network of African resellers, empowering businesses and fostering new opportunities.

Now, effective April 1, 2023, Mrs. Ijogun has assumed the role of CEO at Task Systems Ltd, an ICT Solutions Company, with a clear mandate to become the leading technology company in Africa.

Task Systems, established 36 years ago, has been a pioneer in the tech sector, introducing innovative ICT solutions for industries such as Oil, Banking, Media, Multimedia, Manufacturing, and the Public sector. The company has received over 27 global awards in recognition of its contributions.

Throughout the late 90s until the present day, Task Systems has served as the backbone for many Nigerian companies, providing vital support solutions. At its peak, the company deployed over 257 tech professionals to major organizations like Shell, Chevron, and Total PLC.

Mrs. Ijogun, a global citizen, has undergone senior management courses at prestigious institutions such as Harvard. Being a digital native, she is also a driving force behind "This is Me," a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative spearheaded by TD Africa and supported by major multinational corporations. The initiative aims to promote greater engagement and support for marginalized individuals, including the voiceless, physically challenged, and other vulnerable members of society, helping them restore their dignity and unlock their innate potential.

Mrs. Gozy Ijogun is married and blessed with three children.
